In this article, we will look at how to edit customer profiles.
To edit a customer's profile, click the pencil Action column on the customer row or double-click on the customer's row.
The customer record will appear.
From this window, you will be able to edit various details regarding the customer. On the left side of this window is a menu that will allow you to view and edit different parts of the customer profile.
Profile: In this section, you can edit General Information about the customer and the customer's preferred method of contact.
General Info
Company Name: The name of the company the customer is associated with.
Communication Preferences: If the customer has a preferred method of contact you can specify that here.
Type: Who the customer is and how would you identify them.
Referral Source: What source of marketing material referred this customer?
Opt Outs
If the customer has preferred not to be contacted by specific marketing marketing material, that can be specified here.
Tags
Tags are categories for this customer. You can select which tags you would like your customer to be a part of.
Contacts: In this section, you can add contacts to the customer profile.
To Add a contact click the Add Button. When you click it a new window will appear:
Vehicles: In this section, you can add vehicles associated with the customer.
To add a vehicle to the customer profile click Add button. The following window will appear allowing you to enter the vehicle information:
Activity Log: In this section, you will see all activities that have taken place with this customer. You can filter this data by a specific date range if you wish.
History: The history section will show the history of the customer's interactions with your shop.
