INSPECTION & DVI IMPROVEMENTS

 

We made major enhancements to the inspection workflow for Service Advisors and Technicians, including:

  • Improved inspection review and approval flow
  • Better synchronization between DVI and SMS inspections
  • New batch copy option for customer notes
  • Improved mobile-friendly inspection reports
  • Added activity logs for inspection status changes
  • Fixed issues with inspection statuses, note transfers, conditions/actions, and review workflows
  • Improved inspection printing and PDF formatting
  • Added clearer tooltips, icons, and UI behavior throughout inspections
  • Fixed multiple issues related to photos, annotations, circles, notes, and report previews

 

REPAIR ORDER & WORKFLOW ENHANCEMENTS

 

Repair Order management received significant usability and workflow updates:

  • ROs now close more consistently after pickup or completion
  • Added warnings when technicians modify parts or add additional parts during inspections
  • Added validation for unconfirmed part changes before completing an RO
  • Improved recommendations, labor rates, tax handling, discounts, and service editing
  • Added profit percentage visibility during service review
  • Improved service guide experience with a redesigned workflow and updated UI
  • Improved support for company names across ROs, invoices, statements, and communications
  • Added better search support by company and contact names
  • Closed RO notes can now remain editable

 

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE & PAYMENTS

 

Several improvements were made to A/R workflows and payment processing:

  • Ability to send payment links to alternate emails or phone numbers
  • Improved “Send to Terminal” payment flow
  • Enhanced receipts and statement formatting
  • Improved A/R balances and statement accuracy
  • Added dropdown visibility for A/R invoice details on End of Day reports
  • Improved customer/company name consistency across A/R screens
  • Fixed multiple issues with printing, emailing, receipts, and statements

 

PRINTING & PDF QUALITY

 

Large improvements were made to document rendering and print quality:

  • Cleaner invoice, estimate, RO, and inspection PDFs
  • Improved spacing, margins, fonts, and alignment
  • Fixed blurry/fuzzy PDF rendering issues
  • Improved Terms of Service printing consistency
  • Improved oil sticker printing and formatting
  • Added better mobile printing support

 

MOBILE & TABLET EXPERIENCE

 

The mobile and iPad experience received several upgrades:

  • Improved inspection report usability on mobile devices
  • Fixed flashing and loading issues
  • Improved dropdowns, buttons, layouts, and scrolling behavior
  • Corrected issues with key tag printing on mobile/tablet
  • Improved Service Guide visibility and controls on smaller screens

 

COMMUNICATION & NOTIFICATIONS

 

Updates were made to messaging, email, and communication workflows:

  • Improved RO communication settings
  • Better notification handling for Service Advisors
  • Added support for company-name-based communication messaging
  • Improved merge field replacements in emails and text messages
  • Fixed issues with SMS sending, approval links, resend actions, and communication tooltips
  • Added validation improvements for customer contact methods

 

PARTS, INVENTORY & PARTSTECH

 

Enhancements were made to inventory, purchasing, and PartsTech integration:

  • Improved vehicle information transfer into PartsTech
  • Added vendor filtering for Stock Orders
  • Fixed part status, pricing, consignment, and recommendation-related issues
  • Added PO# history tracking
  • Improved stock order accuracy and synchronization
  • Fixed issues with transferred parts not appearing correctly on ROs

 

REPORTING & ANALYTICS

 

Updates to reporting and business insights include:

  • Added Close Ratio to End of Day reports
  • Improved payment reporting visibility
  • Improved sales tile accuracy
  • Fixed report loading and formatting issues
  • Improved printed report alignment and totals

 

UI & DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS
