SMS App: Changing items to Consignment

This article elaborates on the steps in need to take in case you find yourself having to change  an item that shows non-stock or stock to consignment.

• Go to Physical Inventory

• Find the part and adjust the inventory to 0

• Save at the top of the screen 

• Go to Parts menu

• Search the part and edit the part by clicking on the pencil on the right side of the grid

•  Change to Type field to consignment

• Save 

• Go to Physical inventory

• Update the inventory for that part back to original inventory amount

• Save at the top of the screen
