The DVI app allows technicians to view services assigned to them. This is the tech rack from the technicians view.
Techs are able to view a summary of their stats at the top of the screen. This can be hidden by clicking on the Summary button.
Tasks are assigned to technicians from the SMS app from the workflow or tech rack tabs. The assigned repair orders will appear on technician’s screen like this:
If a repair order is clicked a technician can see more details.
From the repair order, technicians can view services, recommendations, and repair history.
From this screen technicians can also click the play button under a service within a RO and clock into a job. This will begin to count time towards this particular service. Techs can also pause their work on a certain vehicle to go to lunch etc.
Once a tech has started a job within a service they can mark this job as completed by clicking the “mark as completed” button. This will mark the job as completed and make note of the clocked hours associated to this specific job.
