In this article, we will discuss the various elements that make up the Dashboards tab in the KPI app.
Along the top row of the Dashboards Tab in the KPI app, users can select from a list of created Dashboards. If the user has admin-level permissions, then a second list is available to switch between various users. This will allow the admin user to look at the KPI app dashboards for other users.
To add a dashboard for the KPI app, click the button in the top right corner titled Add Dashboard.
Once a KPI app Dashboard is created 2 sets of buttons will appear along the top of the dashboard. The 1st set is used for the KPI app dashboard. The 2nd set is gadgets and graphs that a user can add to their dashboard.
Note: The second set of buttons does not appear if the dashboard layout is set to "Fixed Gadgets."
Tip: Hovering over the icon will reveal the name of the button.
Settings open up the settings for the KPI app dashboard currently selected.
Sharing Options Opens the sharing options screen to share your dashboard with other users.
Delete permanently deletes the currently selected KPI app dashboard. A confirmation will appear before the dashboard is deleted.
Copy duplicates the current KPI app dashboard. This makes creating a new dashboard easier by not starting from scratch.
Save all changes and edits to the KPI app dashboard. Remember that there are no automatic saves, so save often!
Refresh the selected KPI app dashboard rather than refreshing the whole browser, which takes a bit longer.
Print the selected KPI app dashboard. Under print setting is the option Save as PDF, which allows the user to save the selected dashboard as a PDF file.
Target displays a target for a selected period already set for a KPI under the Location KPIs tab.
Metrics displays a KPI which changes based on a formula and date selection.
Standard Graph creates a line, bar, or pie graph for a selected KPI.
Standard Table displays KPIs in a table format with the average, minimum, maximum, and total for the selected time period.
Overlay Graph overlaps multiple KPIs on a single line or bar graph.
Calculated Graph plots users created formulas using existing KPIs.
Comparison Graph compares a single KPI's year over year or period over period.
