This is a step-by-step tutorial to help you add a metrics gadget to your KPI dashboard

A Metric will display the Sum, Average, Net Change, Beginning Number, or End Number of a single KPI for a selected period of time.

To add a metrics gadget to your dashboard, naavigate to the Dashboards tab in the KPI app.

Navigate to gadgets

A pop-up window will appear- click 'Add Gadget' and select 'Metrics (Stat)' from the dropdown.

A pop-up window will appear, and on this screen you can choose the KPI you wish to display the metrics for. Be sure to set the display period, and date selection. 

Input the formula (sum is the most common) then click 'Done' and you will see your metric gadget on the list of gadgets that will appear on your dashboard.

Now click 'Done' on this screen to see your Metrics gadget appear on your dashboard.

TIPS

• A title does not need to be added before adding it to your KPI app dashboard and will default to the name of the KPI.

• Once done, click Save and the Metric will be added to your dashboard.
