A best practice for getting customers to opt in to receive text messages for marketing campaigns and service reminders is to generate a QR code that links to your website's texting opt-in page. 

You can then print the QR code and place it in your shop so customers can scan it.

You can also incentivise opting in by offering discounts to customers who receive text messages!

Creating a QR Code

First, gather your opt-in link. By default, it is your website url with the addition of "/opt-in" (For example, https://driveexpodemo.com/opt-in) You can find this in the Web Builder > Pages tab of the Website App.

Next, use a QR generator website to create the QR code. One such example is https://qrgenerator.org/.

Add your opt-in url, design your QR code (for example color, style, and background) and a QR code can be generated. You can download this QR code and add it to a flyer to print for placement in your shop.
